Each bushing has a tapered seating surface for the cartridge shoulders specific to the caliber. The cartridge headspace is also formatted at the same time as the neck. The bushing has a larger diameter transition area to prevent donut formation. Cortina Precision bushings are designed for Cortina Micro HS dies only, they are not compatible with dies from other manufacturers. The black nitrided surface reduces friction, but we still recommend using a cartridge lubricant.
