COAL and Headspace measurement preparation Forster Datum Dial Kit

The kit includes a base for mounting on a caliper and interchangeable discs with defined holes. The black disk is used to measure Headspace. It has the following holes:

• .330" for 223 Remington, 222 Remington, 204 Ruger, 22 Nosler ....
• .350" for 6mm BR, 6mm Dasher, 6.5mm Grendel, 22-250 ....
• .375" for 6mm GT, 6mm XC, 6.5mm x 47 Lapua, 30-06 Springfield ...
• .400" for 308 Winchester, 6.5mm Creedmoor, 243 Winchester, 7-08 ...
• .420" for 6.5mm PRC, 6.5mm-284, 284 Winchester, 300 Norma Magnum ..

The gold discs are used to measure the COAL charge. They have defined bores for bullets from 17 to 338 cal.

• Disc #1 22 cal, 6mm, 6.5mm, 7mm, 30 cal
• Disc #2 17 cal, 20 cal, 25 cal, 270 cal, 338 cal

It is possible to buy an aluminum disc with 5 pre-drilled holes, for making your own measuring disc.
